I downloaded the APP but why doesn't it connect to my toy?

CloudPets uses a new technology that is only supported on iPhone 4S, IPhone 5 all models or later, iPad 3 or later, and iPad mini. You need to also ensure your Bluetooth is turned to the "On" setting on your phone. Also check to ensure airplane mode is not enabled. It is also supported on selected Android devices supporting the Bluetooth 4.0 technology and on the latest version of the Android operating system.

    I believe the people with app problems probably need to upgrade to the latest app version it is on google play for android users and other places ive read for others. the app does not connect like old fashioned Bluetooth devices you don't go into the list and try to pair it with your phone, nope that you don't do it will ask for a pin and there is none. this toy uses new technology that automatically connects to your phone but remember you have to be within 30 feet of the pet to connect. and to tell if your connected this is one thing that got me, you go to your childs dashboard in the app and in the right hand corner is an indicator if it has a green check mark then your connected and good to go.  also I was fighting my bear getting frusterated that messages I was trying to send from the bear would not send to my phone I was so happy to find that I was running the app all wrong, there is a good video on youtube that explains how it works but you really need to pay attention to the steps cause I didn't at first and was getting mad thought the toy didn't work, but see the magic is in how the app is programmed they have it set up where you can send messages to your child in the parent dashboard create and send but your child cant send a message to YOU if your in the parent screen no that was my problem all along you have to stay in your child screen for your childs messages to be downloaded to your phone then if you wish you can send there message through the cloud to someone else, your husband or wife. I don't know why messages don't download in the parent screen but they don't also I wish this app would have a notification feature but it does not seem to have one as yet. it does work though I was happy when I got it figured out its all in the steps.. the motions when you have the secret it falls into place. and believe me if it works on my phone it will work on yours .     oh I forgot people if you have not already done so there is new FIRMWARE for your pet you must RESET your pet and DOWNLOAD it from your phone through the APP there are videos on youtube and this site on how to reset your pet but I will tell you its very simple turn your pet ON then grab it and squeeze and hold both paws with one hand then turn off the PET at the SAME TIME Turn it on < your app is loaded all this time > keep holding the hand buttons the phone should prompt New Firmware, Download it while holding the hands the heart should beat to the download, when its done your pet will be updated.... ENJOY!!!!

    I set the toy and app up yesterday, and was able to connect to the toy from my iPhone, the toy played messages sent etc. One excited and delighted little girl !
    Today the app cannot connect to the toy, the orange symbol is constantly trying to connect; I'm sat in the same place as yesterday, the wifi has the same strength, the toys and phone have plenty of life.
    Have tried a reset without any joy, but note the last message sent yesterday still plays despite reset; have deleted and reinstalled the app; have even been on the MyCloudPets.com website, thats not anywhere I want my child visiting
    I now have a frustrated little girl who can't understand why the toy won't talk anymore.
    A lot of money for one day's play.
    Has anyone had a reply from this forum or is it just an unmoderated posting site? as I see a lot of questions and no answers

    Can't even login to the app. Uh oh message every time. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Got a very disappointed little girl.

    If you run any type of ad blocking app on your phone then it won't pair our show you access to the cloud pet server via the app. Disable all ad blockers when pairing and using the toy.

    I have nexus 6p the teddy bear is showing on my Bluetooth devices and the damn app can't connect to it

    I've freed up space on two different iPhones and can't get the app to run properly. I've deleted and reloaded it many times.

    what a waste of money i have reset it so many times it says to hold the paws til its solid and ive been holding the paws so long my hands hurt

    App will not connect with profile.

    Set up new profile, reinstalled app.

    Still same issues.

    What a waste of time and money.

    I am having this same problem with an android. I use the latest version of the app and have tried it on my android galaxy s3mini and another android phone but it's not connecting to the pet please help.
